Jayson DiMizio

The Keiki Paddle 2012

Jayson DiMizio is a 14-year old freshman at Dos Pueblos High School who has a brain tumor. He had the tumor diagnosed when he was 7 and at that time had two surgeries that were thought to be successful. The tumor came back last summer and he had surgery for the third time in January of this year. He is currently an active ice hockey and volleyball player. He is an L.A. Kings fan. He likes to surf when he can.

He is honored -- and a little embarrassed -- to be selected as a beneficiary for the 2012 Keiki Paddle.

Jayson has participated in two previous Keiki Paddle events to benefit other kids facing challenges similar to his own. He is ready to paddle hard in this year's event.
