The Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation

Hugs for cubs

The Foresters' ongoing "buddy" program for children battling cancer: To create memories for, and give strength to, kids battling something much tougher than a nasty curveball. Each summer, Foresters players develop one-on-one friendships with local kids facing the toughest challenge of their young lives.

Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties

Their mission is to grant one special wish to a child with a life threatening medical condition, and thereby enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. The local chapter has served San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties since 1985!

Kids Helping Kids

theGSF - PROJECT MARIPOSA

"Project Mariposa" is an initiative of the Gwendolyn Strong Foundation (theGSF) with a simple mission: to make the world more accessible to those with severe disabilities through targeted technology product grants. Mariposa is butterfly in Spanish -- theGSF's signature symbol -- and like a butterfly emerging from it's cocoon, Project Mariposa will help those with disabilities to spread their wings.
